民国年间，盛传阴宅下葬风水之说，所谓“发财靠阳宅，升官靠阴宅”一说风靡。阴阳先生一职更是有堪龙穴、阴阳宅断的本领，深受追捧。有“地仙”之称的郭阴阳（高雄饰）来到灵山镇寻找恩人郑翁（侯桐江饰），发现灵山镇深藏着的神秘的鼠嫁、风水绝户之地的死亡之说。阳人住阴宅，回门之日冲煞头七之夜。偷风水而起家的两兄弟，守孝三年，真假孝心背后却隐藏着关于鲤鱼穴的禁忌怪谈。阴人回阳宅，每夜寻找红衣的长发女子。一切线索将三段故事牵扯之中，因果不空，循环不止，背后的谜底究竟如何？。凯撒（克里斯汀·克拉维尔 Christian Clavier 饰）是一名汽车经销商，最近，他的生意非常的萧条，濒临破产的边缘。亚里克斯（伊莲娜·诺古哈 Héléna Noguerra 饰）是凯撒的室友金（穆里尔·罗宾 Muriel Robin 饰）的妹妹，亚里克斯表示自己可以给凯撒介绍生意来缓解他的经济危机，但作为交换，凯撒必须假扮成她的丈夫，这样亚里克斯才能够收养一位名叫梅（Maily Florentin Dao 饰）的5泰国女孩。 就这样，凯撒和亚里克斯结伴踏上了前往泰国的旅途，在成功收养梅之前，两人必须接受重重地考验，以证明他们是一对合格的父母。在此过程中，凯撒和亚里克斯从最初的相互看不对眼到渐渐的互相理解扶持，关系产生了质的变化。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
