故事发生在解放前的北京。丐帮首领牛二爷整天带一帮泼皮横行市井，孙豆汁因没孝敬牛二，豆汁摊被牛二捣毁，儿子孙六血气方刚，非要找牛二拼命。烤肉铺刘掌柜与孙六同时相中李窝脖的闺女李淑英，无奈孙六人穷志短，只好加入丐帮，仰仗牛二势力摆平了刘掌柜。孙豆汁见儿子当了混混，一气之下将他赶出家门，淑英见孙六如此不争气，只好皈依了佛门。谷掌柜与刘掌柜结怨已久，牛二为从中渔利，关键时刻出卖了孙六。孙六看透了牛二险恶用心，他抢走牛二的龙鞭，在祖始爷帮衬下成为了混混首领。上任伊始，他带人砸了刘掌柜的烤肉店，孙豆汁扬言要跟孙六断绝父子关系......。In the mid-70s, surfers from Venice-Santa Monica who hung out at the Zephyr Surf Shop would skateboard when the surf was quiet.
