In the peace and quiet of their natural surroundings, which provide a refuge from the intense heat of the sun, the women go through the text and dress up in their ruched period costumes, while in easy conversation they share their secrets, and also have little adven...。D县县警三上义信（皮埃尔泷饰）现在警务部秘书课广报室担任新闻发言人，他的女儿（入山杏奈饰）总认为自己容貌丑陋，最终下落不明，该事件令三上及其妻子美那子（木村佳乃饰）痛苦不已。不久前D县发生一起交通肇事案件，三上被高层命令封锁肇事者的姓名，从而令媒体记者大为光火，争吵不断。本就为工作和生活搞得焦头烂额的他，突然又被警视厅长官命令调查在昭和64年（1989）发生的一起悬而未决的少女绑架杀人事件。曾经也是办案人员之一的三上重新走访受害家属以及当年的同侪。一系列事件背后的真相昭然若揭…… 本片根据横山秀夫的原作改编。。
