Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。出生大家族的东尼一直比不上其它兄弟而得不到父亲欢心，唯有他的游泳天份令其父另眼相看。东尼在短短几年间赢尽各游泳赛事，更有机会进军奥运。此时，他发现所付出的努力不只为博取父亲的欢心，而是让自己寻回失去的自尊……。
