《9号秘事》是一部英式黑色幽默悬疑喜剧。一部只有短短的几集，每一集都讲一个独立的故事。每一集只有短短的半个小时，却以十分紧凑的剧情和片尾的意外结局让观众大为赞赏。。小耿与蔡仔是多年邻居，分驶日夜班计程车，小耿自认家无恒产又无杰出才能不敢好高骛远，蔡仔个性爽朗，易苦中作乐，计程车后座永远放着一套西装，随时富家哥儿面貌出现。两人在开计程车生涯中经历了大都市的千奇百怪。小耿的赤子之心倍受试炼，路过车祸现场，毅然伸出援手却被误指为肇事者，受央求为人开锁却中了盗窃集团的诡计以致官司缠身。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
