东日本大地震9年后的宫城县，发生了连环杀人案件，在警察笘篠（阿部宽饰）的追查中，因为帮朋友而引发纵火伤人事件入狱，现在刚出狱不久的利根（佐藤健饰）成为嫌疑人。在没有决定性证据的情况下，又发生了新的案件。。本作は甲斐が20年以上をかけ構想し書き上げたオリジナル作品。舞台はそう遠くない現代、国家が推進する延命治療として、一定の階級より上の人間が病に侵されたとき、自分と同じ見た目の“それ”が提供されて病の身代わりになるという設定で展開される“命の問題作”だ。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
