剧情以现今女性身兼多职，既要照顾家庭又要兼顾事业，面对社会标准、迫人生活及舆论压力，女性往往承受很多不必要的压力为主题。《熟女强人》透过七个女性去探讨及穿梭一些大胆的话题，包括雪卵、争抚养权、同性恋、性上瘾、换妻、爸爸去哪儿及脱单等等。。現今香港人工作忙碌，放工時間越來越晚，下班回家，街市攤檔也許已經關門。除了購入新鮮食材有困難之外，單身人士、同居小情侶，要煮一餐好餸亦不容易。由於食用份量少，買食材較難預算，此時便利店或是大家的「救星」。便利店不但營業時間長，而且內裡的食物種類繁多，即吃食品、零食等一應俱全。加上有名廚「保哥」黃亞保在節目中教路，只需藉着簡單步驟，便利店食物也可變成美味佳餚。。“What is a woman to do in the current dating climate?
