这是发生在网络一族的一个匪夷所思的惊险恐怖故事，一个网络“丈夫”在突然蒸发之后，却神秘地出现在女主人公的现实世界中，不断地骚扰她的生活…… 女主人公余冰的生活中有三个重要的人：乔苏，她的丈夫，他们在长城上认识；米柯，她的“网络情人”，她总把心里的苦恼倾诉给他；徐成，上海的前卫青年，脑子里总有些奇怪想法，暗恋着余冰。余冰喜欢这样的生活，然而一件意外的事情让米柯突然从网上蒸发，从此余冰的身边出现了接二连三的怪事，网上的米柯开始出现在她的生活里，不断的打电话，发传真，送花骚扰余冰，并威胁说：“我是你老公，我要回家。”余冰的生活不得安宁，她开始怀疑每一个人，身边的人都像是米柯的化身。米柯甚至还进入她家杀死了小狗“宝宝” 。。三个一起在孤儿院长大的好友德高、松鼠、小蓝成为了科学家，在美国中央情报局研究“人类潜意识”。他们得到消息称不法分子狂龙打算趁机在世界杯期间恶意把暴力意识传到东南亚，进一步引发金融风暴。 德高与松鼠、小蓝这几名出色的科学家成为了狂龙的目标。在松鼠结婚当天，他们杀死了松鼠的妻子，挟持了小蓝离开。德高与松鼠决心要报复与拯救小蓝，所以自愿接受了科学院里的潜意识训练，想通过训练成为杰出的打手。 可是在他们成功救出小蓝的时候，松鼠的意识发生了变异，错手杀死了德高的爱人小蓝。从此松鼠与德高各走各路，但对爱人逝世无法释怀的德高决定为女友报仇，一定要找到松鼠。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
