故事的舞台是2019年12月闪电结婚、震惊社会的笨蛋主义家…不是，而是他为了执笔而另外租的东京都内某公寓的一个房间——通称“工作场所”。 在可以说是圣域的“工作场所”，当笨蛋主义独自一人走向办公桌时，日村勇纪（香蕉人）和若林正恭（奥黛丽）突然来访，开始妨碍写作。在这种情况下，住在附近的女演员·水川麻美也开始沉浸在“工作场所”中……。孙雯的母亲曾投身三星堆考古，后离开人世，郝正父亲为做一款三星堆单机游戏突然失联。孙雯因沉迷突然中止的三星堆游戏到星湾村寻找作者金乌，郝正早期也赴三星堆寻找父亲，两人相遇，携手探寻游戏线索，却发现游戏已成泡影。。SUMMONING THE SPIRIT follows Carla (Millie Valdes) and Dean (Reyes) as they decide to escape the hustle of the big city, purchasing a home in the remote forest. They have big plans for their new quiet life, only to find something much more sinister.
