Now, China has fallen in love with love and its exploding wedding in...。鄂东两个结拜兄弟周云亭和贺紫恒。周酷爱麻将，且算学出众，贺喜好篆刻，国学出众。二人一起入督学府求学，周无奈临行前，周将家里的生意及未婚妻托付给贺照料。周的未婚妻是贺的初恋情人，可现实不如意，朝夕相处俩人饱受相恋之苦，要逃离东渡日本。周在日本结识建川，因俩人有共同爱好，而成为朋友，建川开设赌场，让周经营，以谋暴利。后抗战爆发，周随建川回国，因建川想获取贺家祖传篆刻秘籍，而设计陷害贺，周为了救兄弟而惨遭入狱。周请贺为自己刻制了中国第一副石刻现代麻将，周云亭四处同各路高手切磋麻将，因其牌技高超所向无敌而被官方重用。后因一场赌局而得罪黑社会，端的痛苦，在狱中他做了一手大牌，可海底自摸起来却是一张白板。。
