A group of recent grads head out on a late night drive for grub, hoping to enjoy one final hangout before their paths diverge. Cramped together inside a Jeep Cherokee and with the miles stretching infinitely ahead, they face a choice...。1957年某晚，居住在美国加州莫哈维沙漠小镇中的天文学家泰德•刘易斯博士（艾瑞克•麦柯马克 Eric McGormack 饰）正为爱妻拉娜（乔蒂•汤普森 Jody Thompson 饰）准备结婚周年纪念的烧烤晚餐，突然发现一颗流星从天而降坠毁在不远处的小山坡上。同样目睹流星飞过的还有小镇餐馆女服务员泰米（詹妮•拜尔德 Jenni Baird 饰）。泰德前去查看，发现“流星”竟是一艘外星飞碟，自己也被外星人“厄普”俯身。厄普在泰米的帮助下全力搜寻逃匿的独眼外星怪兽“格塔”，却依然赶不上“格塔”吃人的速度。更可怕的是，一旦“格塔”开始以几何级数速度分身，将陷整个地球于不可挽回的危险之中。。描写农村葡萄熟了的时侯，投机商人乘机压价企图获得暴利，但由于合作社积极主动找销路，解决了葡萄的积压，打击了投机商人。。
