该剧根据红军时期无线电通讯事业创始人之一蔡威的真实革命经历和卓越功绩展开创作，讲述了无名英雄们与敌人展开无线电码的破译与反破译之战、为配合红军长征胜利做出巨大贡献的故事。 四·一二反革命政变后，蔡泽鏛回上海寻找组织，为不暴露家人身份，蔡泽鏛化名蔡威，与中共特科明松、夏天等人在无线电培训班相识。在我党筹建第一部红色电台的过程中，蔡泽鏛党员身份被证实，正式加入电台建设工作中。后奉命与徐正业、曲向东等人前往鄂豫皖苏区筹建电台。到达鄂豫皖苏区，蔡威发挥其无线电特长，与徐正业和曲向东一起为红四方面军组建了第一部电台，还培养了一批无线电人才。 电台运转正常后，蔡威不甘于电台只能用于收发报，他又琢磨起侦听敌人军情的使命，用自己所学的知识以及对敌人黄季弼的了解，一次次破译国民党的密码，及时洞悉敌军兵力调动，为苏区红军战胜敌军提供了有力的情报支持。在长征即将胜利会师之...。In the town of Thiers, summer of 1976, teachers and parents give their children skills, love, and attention.
