五岁的吉松和姐姐吉美自小失去了父母，过着相依为命的流浪生活，机缘巧合之下，姐弟俩得到寺院僧人的帮助，收留他们在寺院里住下。寺院内的生活轻松安稳，吉松年幼淘气，经常惹出小麻烦，但僧人们对他十分包容，还带领他进入修行的世界，令吉松单纯的相信，只要足够虔诚，就有机会见到他的妈妈。懂事的吉美已经双目失明，经常因为想念妈妈而偷偷哭泣，因怕弟弟伤心，无法向他说出母亲再不会回来的事实。冬天来临，吉松跟随僧人净觉到山上观音庵修行，但净觉最后一次下山采购时恰逢大雪封山，令他无法返回，五岁的吉松只身一人留在观音庵里，以他自己的方式终于见到了母亲……。The goal with CLOWNADO is to make a damned good, scary and splatter-filled, nonstop roller coaster ride of a Horror movie.
